TFC, an AFC Industries Company, is a leading distributor of engineering fastener components to industries ranging from medical and electronics to motorsports and aerospace. We are looking for talented professionals to join a small Telemarketing Team to get us in front of new customers and support the process to win their business.  If you have a strong work ethic and highly motivated to be part of a dynamic, growing company we are looking for you! 

Main Responsibilities 

The TFC Marketing Team propose and implement strategic campaigns to raise awareness and generate high quality business leads for the Regional Business Development Managers to turn into customers.

Telemarketing is a key part of the combined sales and marketing team effort that will help drive significant business growth in the UK.

As part of your remit you will:

  • Report to the UK Head of Marketing on proactive telemarketing progress
  • Research and develop new business opportunities in a UK region to target prospects and gain appointments, all as part of a long-term marketing programme
  • Work closely on a day-to-day basis with a regional Business Development Managers on proactive communications centred around outbound calls
  • Maintain activity records via marketing and sales automation and CRM systems
  • Log activity progress on CRM system and maintain regular reporting

Key Skills

  • Highly competent at building relationships with colleagues in your team
  • Ability to use online sources to investigate and make calls to open doors at target companies
  • Excellent introduction and phone communication skills and a tenacity to win and deliver
  • Able to meet deadlines for data entry and reporting across multiple marketing campaigns
  • Strong work ethic and ability to achieve KPI’s


  • Minimum 2 years telemarketing/sales experience developing new business opportunities
  • Knowledge of CRM or other systems to record customer activity
  • Preferable good knowledge of LinkedIn 

On Offer

  • Salary dependent on experience
  • Full-time 35hrs per week or Part-time 20 Hours per week over 4-5 days
  • Office and some remote working

Training will be given on TFC’s sales and marketing approach, CRM and operating systems.
